Dosing guidance is guidance, not advice

Pool Slip calculates suggested chemical doses from a fixed, versioned rules table using the readings and pool details you enter. It is a calculator, not a chemist.

• The result is only as good as the readings and the pool volume you give it.
• Where no rule covers a pool, the app shows no guidance rather than estimating.
• You can override any dose, and you are responsible for what you add to a pool.
• You remain responsible for complying with the chemical handling and pool safety rules that apply where you work.

Nothing in Pool Slip replaces your professional judgement or a qualified opinion where one is required.

Your data and your customers' data

You keep ownership of everything you put into Pool Slip. You are responsible for having a proper basis to hold your customers' details, and for what you record in a visit. We process it on your behalf, as described in the privacy policy.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything your technicians do.

Availability

The app is built to work offline, so a service interruption should not stop you working. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we will give notice of planned maintenance where we reasonably can.

Billing

Subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current period. We do not refund part-periods except where the law requires it.

Ending it

You can stop using Pool Slip and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend an account that is being used unlawfully or in a way that damages the service for others, and we will tell you why.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, our liability arising out of your use of Pool Slip is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We will tell you in the app before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use Pool Slip after that means you accept the change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia.
