For operators running 15–150 pools
Finish the route. The paperwork is already done.
Record the visit at the poolside in under a minute — readings, dosing, photo proof — with no reception and wet hands. Free for your first 15 pools. Not a trial: free.

- Every capture works offline
- Data stored in Australia
- Export everything as CSV, any time
- No card to start
The same information gets captured three times and still isn’t there when you need it.
Every claim below answers a complaint recorded by a competitor's own users, not a position we invented. The sources are in our comparison pages.
-
Your bill doesn’t grow when your route does.
Per-pool pricing is the loudest complaint in this category. One competitor took its per-pool rate from $1 to $2 — a 100% rise — and reviewers describe pricing that “quadrupled over the last 5 years”. Pool Slip charges per business. Add your hundredth pool and the bill is the same as it was at your sixteenth.
Complaint C1
-
Never lose a photo or a reading.
The most severe complaint on record is software that destroys captured work: “Deletes readings & notes & will not save once it crashes.” Every photo here is moved somewhere durable before you are told it was taken, every upload retries without discarding the original, and a published visit cannot be edited.
Complaint C2
-
Every report arrives, and you can see that it did.
One operator with three crews reports they “rarely can get even 80% of the reports to go through in the field”. The failure is silent: you believe the work is recorded, and find out when a customer disputes it. Pool Slip shows per-item state from capture through to verified — which item, not how many.
Complaint C3
-
Fast enough you’d use it if nobody was checking.
One competitor rates 4.9 stars from owners and 4.0 from the technicians who actually use it. A review titled “Too Much!” describes being made to photograph “the skimmers, the Polaris bag, your net, your brush”. We will never require a photo per task, and we will never track where you are.
Complaint C11
Four steps at the pool. Nothing left for tonight.
-
Open the route
The day’s stops are already on the phone. No spinner, no network request, and no waiting on a signal you do not have.
-
Enter the readings
Dosing is calculated on the device from a versioned rules table — never guessed, never generated. If no rule matches, it says so rather than inventing a number.
-
Take the photo
It attaches itself to the visit and is written to the device before anything is uploaded. Your camera roll stays out of it.
-
Mark it done
The report is branded, timestamped, and goes to the pool owner on a link that expires. Your invoice data is ready to export the moment the route ends.
Evidence you can rely on, from a phone with one bar.
These are behaviours, not adjectives. Each one is a thing the product does when something goes wrong.
-
Force-killed mid-upload
Every photo is still there when you reopen, and the upload resumes without you.
-
Published means published
A published visit cannot be edited. A correction becomes a new, linked record.
-
Two devices, same stop
Neither capture is discarded. The conflict is shown to you rather than resolved quietly.
-
A locked gate is an outcome
Recorded with a reason and an optional photo — a documented result, not a gap in the day.
Built for the route, and nothing else.
-
Deterministic dosing
Same readings, same rules version, same answer. Every time.
-
No guess, ever
When no rule matches, you get the readings and a plain statement that there is no guidance.
-
Your call overrides the table
Both the computed dose and the one you applied are stored against the visit.
-
Branded customer reports
Your business name, on a signed link that expires. Held for your review before it sends.
-
CSV in, CSV out
Import your pool list with column mapping and row-level errors. Export any date range.
-
Chemicals as you go
Pre-filled from the dose you applied. Usually zero extra taps.
-
Add a stop mid-route
Without leaving the route board.
-
Roles that mean something
Enforced in the database, not just hidden in the interface.
-
Gate codes stay private
Never in a report, never in an export, never in a log line.
Free until 15 pools. Then one price, per business.
Pool count gates the free tier and nothing else. Paid plans are separated by seats and features, never by how many pools you service.

Questions operators actually ask.
- Is the free tier a trial?
- No. Fifteen pools, free, with the whole evidence engine — offline capture, dosing, photo proof and customer reports. No card, no expiry. If you never pass fifteen pools, you never pay us a subscription.
- Does it work without reception?
- The route board renders from the device with no network request at all, and a full visit can be captured, completed and marked done offline. Sync happens when you are back in signal, in the background.
- Where is my customers’ information stored?
- In Australia, in the Sydney region. Every record is scoped to your business and that scoping is enforced at the database, not just in the app. Pool access notes never leave it in a report, export or log.
- Do you track where my technicians are?
- No, and we do not intend to. There is no live location, no breadcrumb history and no geofenced arrival detection. The route map draws the day you are about to drive; it does not report your position to anyone.
- Does it do invoicing?
- Not yet. Quotes, invoicing and taking payment from the pool owner are planned and on the roadmap — they are how the free tier pays for itself. Today the answer is CSV export to whatever you already use, and that path stays first-class after invoicing ships.
- Can I get my data out?
- Any date range as CSV, any time, plus a full account export. Account deletion works too, and is verified by an independent query rather than by trusting the response.
